Pirika is a globally recognized application dedicated to litter collection and social impact. Through innovative features that visualize the process of picking up litter, Pirika encourages users to inspire and support one another in creating a cleaner environment.

In today's world, the widespread issue of pollution caused by litter is a pressing concern. Particularly detrimental is the contamination of rivers, oceans, and seas, which not only disrupts ecosystems but also poses health risks to humans through food chain pollution.

With 80% of marine litter originating from land sources, the simple act of collecting litter plays a critical role in combatting pollution.

Originally developed in Japan, Pirika was founded in 2011 by students from Kyoto University who covertly utilized university resources to create the app. Despite initial skepticism, Pirika has garnered worldwide adoption, empowering users across 111 countries to remove over 210,000,000 pieces of litter.
